Senior Strategy Consultant
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Strategy Consultant is responsible for:
o
ensuring that strategy definition
occurs across ThinkFast strategy engagements
o
leading client strategy definition projects
o
leading strategy integration across client divisions
o
analyzing strategic issues and opportunities
o
analyzing
and optimizing business and operating processes
The Senior Strategy Consultant will:
o
work
with ThinkFast client's, program and product staff to
create an integrated portfolio of strategic
initiatives and
change plans
o
lead
the development of product strategies and product
roadmaps
o
perform
detailed analyses including market and competitor
assessments, pricing, packaging, revenue, and cost
structures.
o
have
significant experience leading efforts to address
complex product opportunities.
o
will
be familiar with leading business theory and methodology
and be able to effectively apply these tools to support
decision-making and planning.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
o
Partner
with client staff to create an integrated approach to
developing strategies.
o
Evaluate
new product development ideas on criteria such as
mission and economic impact, market assessment,
competitive positioning, client capability to succeed.
o
Lead
policy evaluation for potential impacts, opportunities
and options based on internal and external data
intelligence. Form recommendations on optimal
approaches for ThinkFast clients.
o
Lead
the development of product roadmaps for select critical
new products or major product changes, linking overall
strategic goals into achievable implementation plans.
o
Responsible
for the compilation, analysis and management of market,
competitive and product performance indicators.
o
Lead
analysis work performed by supporting analysts, as
needed; supporting staff will include full-time
employees, consultants, and external experts.
o
Mentor
and manage product analysis resources as well as other
project staff.
o
Create
templates, tools, and tutorials relating to best
practice business strategy and planning methodologies in
order to engage a diverse group of supporting staff in
business analysis and planning efforts.
